Founded by Dr. David Young in 1995, QSI Research offers a unique perspective to Qualitative Market Research aimed at providing superior service to the client.

 

Over two decades of experience in research psychology, human factors, clinical psychology, and market research are brought to bear on the design and implementation of innovative research to address difficult qualitative issues.

 

Marketing and advertising are separate disciplines unto themselves.  Yet, both are founded on the underlying principles of human psychology.

 

To be successful, the marketer or advertiser needs to clearly understand what motivations (or barriers) drive consumer behavior, how the target audience relates to the brand, and how the brand can best be positioned to increase market share.

 

David bases his market research programs on the premise that advertising and marketing campaigns are only as successful as the underlying research that is conducted.  A campaign based on an understanding of the principles of human psychology and what clearly motivates or inhibits consumer behavior will clearly be more effective than one that is not.  By combining his research and psychology experience, David provides useful insights and actionable research results.
